1. Do you remember the episode/scene/chapter that you first started shipping 6?
In the last part of the mini-series when Hatter goes to rescue Alice. There's a scene in the casino where she hugs him and he's like "Oh, this is nice." Then when she's in shock over her father's death shortly after, he gets her out of it and back into action.
2. Have you ever read a FanFiction about 2?
OMG, I think I've read the most fanfic now about Scully and Mulder than my other OTPs. The X-Files fics are exceptionally well-written.
3. Has a picture of 4 ever been your screen saver/profile picture/tumblr?
I have had an icon of Amy as my tumblr profile pic. I do have icons of the two that I make use of!
4. If 7 were to suddenly break-up today, what would your reaction be?
"WTF???? This cannot be!!! Your love was were forged in battle and in the toughest of times!! Noooo!!!!" Tom and B'Elanna were one of my first ships. I just adore the whole hate to love development.
5. Why is 1 so important?
Tony Stark was a womanizing, incapable of committing guy. I don't have familiarity with the comics but in the first movie, he totally treats women like trash (as they act as such) but his respect for Pepper is evident. They've been together (through work, etc.) for so long that she's really the only woman who's a person to him. She also represents what's best in Tony and keeps him striving for that better Tony that we all know resides inside. Plus...their banter.
6. Is 9 a funny ship or a serious ship?
I think that Emma and August are capable of being funny. Actually, now that I think of it, I feel that they would mostly be funny. What captured me about them was the fact that Emma was so serious all the time and August threw her off, got her to loosen up a bit. Course he has to fully resolve the whole "abandoning you as a baby" part first before they could go anywhere.
7. Out of all of the ships listed, which ship has the most chemistry?
I would say Scully and Mulder. We had SIX years of UST (casual touches, hugs, saving each others' lives multiple times, loooooong looks) before we got a kiss and even then it was between Mulder and a Scully in a past time period that may or may not have existed. Then we had to wait for another year before we got a kiss and then it's never shown in a clear-cut way that this is when Scully and Mulder admitted their feelings to each other and became an item. But sometimes I don't even need that because of how lovely they are together without that declaration tehre.
8. Out of all of your ships listed, which ship has the strongest bond?
Well all the actual canon ones have strong bonds. Can't really speak for the non-canon ones. In looking at my ships, I can see that the canon ones were definitely bound together through the trials and tribulations of life and living.
9. How many times have you read/watched 10’s fandom?
I've only watched the Harry Potter movies at least once through. I think I've read the books two to three times though.
10. Which ship has lasted the longest?
I guess my first ship be Tom and B'Elanna. When I watched the X-Files in 95 or 96 I think I was about 8 or 9 years old and so didn't get what "shipping" was or felt. But with ST:V, I was about 10 or 11 when Tom and B'Elanna started getting together and I understood more about luurve :)
11. How many times, if ever, has 6 broken up?
They've never broken up canonically because they don't actually get together until the end of the Alice miniseries. Though there was a couple times when one left the other in the course of their journey together so that might count.
12. If the world was suddenly thrust into a zombie apocalypse, which ship would make it out alive, 2 or 8?
They're both kickass pairs. Mulder and Scully have done the zombie thing a couple of times now and so it's old hat for them. Katniss is just BA and Peeta can be too, but I think Katniss would cover for him and get him out alive.
13. Did 7 ever have to hide their relationship for any reason?
In the beginning, after they confessed their love to each other, mainly I think due to regulations. In the first episode where we actually see Tom and B'Elanna's relationship on screen, they're making out in various locations and then getting caught and scolded.
14. Is 4 still together?
Oh, yes. Rory's waited two thousand years for Amy and she's waited decades for him. They've separated over misguided perceptions of each other but have always come back. They would do anything for each other - even forge a new life in the 1940's.
15. Is 10 canon?
Only in my mind. And several hundred fanfic/fanart works.
16. If all 10 ships were put into a couple’s Hunger Games, which couple would survive?
It's a bit unfair considering that I have twice Champions Katniss and Peeta as one of my ships. They're all kind of brilliant in their own way so it's a tough call. Tony would McGuiver something out of what he could find and take Pepper with him. Mulder and Scully would use their telepathic abilities to form a plan and turn the conspiracy on its head. The Doctor would call the TARDIS to him and take Rose with him (and Rory and Amy because, well, they're Ponds). Lily and Severus could whip up some magical incantation to defeat the others, with the help of know-it-all Hermione and calculating Slytherin Draco. Hatter could use his fist of doom and get Alice and him ahead. And Tom and B'Elanna could hijack a space ship, do some fancy flying out of there after torpedoing the rest out of existence.
17. Has anybody ever tried to sabotage 5’s ship?
Sadly yes, and it worked. Damn you James Potter! *shakes fist*
18. Which ship would you defend to the death and beyond?
Ahhh!!! All of them!! Although, I am sad to admit, my Dramione may fall if under heavy fire.
19. Do you spend hours a day going through 3’s Tumblr page?
Not tumblr. Hours a day on LJ, Teaspoon and some minor time spent on tumblr. It's the fic that I'm addicted to.
20. If an evil witch descended from the sky and told you that you had to pick one of the ten ships to break up forever or else she’d break them all forever, which ship would you sink?
See what I mean about falling under heavy fire? It'd be Dramione. :( I just know that Hermione would find a modicum of happiness with Ron if she couldn't have Draco. It's a comforting thought.
